Pokémon Go is coming up with new plans to keep its subscribers growing. Adding a new dimension to the game is The Pokémon Go Plus wearable, which is scheduled to be launched on September 16. The wearable is two months behind its original schedule.

The wearable was developed by Niantic Labs and is modeled after Pokeball map pin. This wearable device is equipped with a Bluetooth sensor. It vibrates whenever the user is in close vicinity of Pokémon or Pokestops. The device also flashes to notify the player whenever there is any activity on the game app.

According to Gizmodo, with the new device, the players can catch Pokémon without getting their phone out. However, it is only possible if the player has already caught that specific type of Pokémon in the past.

Pokémon Go Plus was initially scheduled to be launched in July. According to The Verge, the launch was, however, delayed. Nintendo issued an apology to buyers who had pre-ordered the device. The company promised them a discount on their future purchases. Pokémon Go is currently out of stock at both GameStop and Amazon.

After hitting the top of the charts, the game is now losing its sheen. In mid-August, it reported 30 million active users, down from 45 million in July. Niantic recently also announced its plans to launch an Apple Watch version of the gaming app soon.

The Pokémon Go Plus Wearable is priced at $35 apiece.
