Pokemon Go Collaborates with Google Maps

The creator of "Pokémon Go," Niantic, has partnered with Google to offer new features to players. With Google Maps, players now have new tricks under their sleeves.

One of the new features allows users to update their "Pokémon Go" related activities on their Timeline. According to BGR, users need to go to "Your timeline" in the app and tap the travel icon. However, the feature does not provide any aid such as offering any clues about their next appearance.

Timeline is one of the most obscure features of Google Maps. According to Android Police, this feature of Maps lets users have an overview of their activities. It is especially useful if the user has been using driving or navigation mode on the app. While the Timeline feature works automatically, it can be edited manually to provide a more accurate description.

Google Maps seems to be an efficient way of keeping track of one's "Pokémon Go" activities. While the game is still popular, the initial euphoria it sparked is waning. To keep the heat on, Niantic is now introducing new features to entice new players.

Among the most noteworthy new features is the Buddy system. The game is also expected to get a new update to offer support for trading Pokémon. Niantic recently reinstated some of its banned user accounts. The accounts were suspended for activities such as using unauthorized third party apps.
