The Lava P7+ smartphone with a 5-inch high-definition display, a 2500 mAh battery, and selfie flash has been launched for $84 (approximately Rs. 5649).

According to Phone Radar, the Lava P7+ is now listed on the official website of the Indian mobile company Lava. It comes with the entry-level specifications. It is the successor to the previously launched Lava P7 that is now available on eBay India for $61 (around Rs. 4099).

The Lava P7+ has a 5.0-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It also has the classic 2.5D curved glass screen. It sports a pixel density of 294ppi and 16M colors for better color reproduction and sharpness.

The Lava P7+ is powered by a quad-core chipset clocked at a speed of 1.3 GHz. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It supports dual-SIM dual standby and 3G network.

The Lava P7+ comes with a 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64 GB via a microSD card slot. It is packed with a removable 2500 mAh Li-Po battery that can last for more than a day of usage.

The Lava P7+ features an 8-megapixel camera at the back with LED flash, autofocus, and 720p video recording capability at 30 frames per second. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 84-degree wide viewing angle lens and LED flash for selfies and video chats. This front camera is wide enough to take a groupfie (or a selfie with more people) in a single frame, NDTV reported.

The device's connectivity options are GPRS, EDGE, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS support, Bluetooth 4.0, and a  micro-USB 2.0 port. It is available in gray and gold color.

Lava is offering a one-year manufacturer warranty for the Lava P7+ smartphone and six months warranty for its accessories.
