HTC is creating two mobile devices for Google Nexus, currently under the tag of M1 and S1, as leaked by the famous leaksters, Evan Blass @EvLeaks. These codenames are speculated to be Marlin and Sailfish but has been neither confirmed nor denied by Google or HTC. The forthcoming Google I/O event that will be held next month might be the venue where these new phones will be announced or becomes official.

In addition to the rumors, VR focus may also be added on these latest devices but nothing is certain yet. Google and HTC are both good at hiding important details of this said merging that is why there have not been any leaked images nor rumored appearance of the upcoming Google Nexus phone made by HTC. But there are some websites which shows possible specs and features of the upcoming Google Nexus phones. Some of the rumored specs are the upcoming Google Nexus phones will be using Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 with 4GB RAM and it was listed on the benchmark as motherboard Marlin, according to Computer World.

 Google is known to using marine life species as their codenames for their upcoming devices such as Hammerhead for the Nexus 5 and Shamu for Nexus 6. For the latest Nexus 5X, Bullhead is used as its code and Angler for the Nexus 6P and more devices. These rumored HTC manufactured Google Nexus phones is said to be powered by the latest Android software, Android N. apart from these speculated information from different sites in the internet, bottomline is that no details are being shared by either Google or HTC regarding this new device.

Android Police posted a supposed evidence showing details of the said M1 or Marlin Google Nexus phone but they were unable to locate anything about the other code S1 or Sailfish. It appears like Google is keeping things close to their chests as there are only few information that can be gathered about their latest flagships. What enthusiasts and analysts strongly believe is that Google is definitely working their new phones with HTC in all confidentiality.

Kudos to Google for keeping things seriously surprising as even rumored images of these Google Nexus phones are to no avail. Perhaps, fanatics and avid followers should wait and see for Google's announcements regarding these new phones and hopefully it will be revealed in the upcoming Google I/O event.
