A custom iPad Pro designed by Apple Chief Design Officer (CDO) Jony Ive has been donated to a charity auction in London. The unique iPad Pro includes a yellow gold chassis, blue Smart Cover, and orange Apple Pencil case.

The iPad Pro itself is a standard model. However, it also includes a yellow aluminum backplate, leather Smart Cover, and Apple Pencil case made of Italian calf leather.

The unique iPad will be one of 39 lots at the "Time for Design" charity auction. It includes the laser-engraved "Edition 1 of 1" on the back of the iPad, and French and Italian leather, according to Apple Insider.

It is unclear which iPad Pro model will be on the auction block, although it will likely be the 256GB version due to the sky-high price.

Design Museum is in the process of moving from its current location near Tower Bridge to the other side of the city in Kensington, according to The Independent. Other items up for sale at the charity event include a sculpture and tea and coffee set.

Ive has been working with Design Museum for decades. In 1990 a few years before he became an Apple employee the famous designer unveiled a prototype mobile phone. Then in 2003 Ive's work on iMac won him the London museum's first Designer of the Year award.

The Time for Design auction will take place on April 28. Ive's custom-made iPad Pro is expected to fetch between $14,200 and $21,300 although the final price tag could be more exorbitant.
