Avid gamers have long been waiting for the release of "Grand Theft Auto VI" (GTA VI). The highly anticipated sequel is speculated that will not be released any time soon.

It was not long ago, when rumors popped out that Rockstar might be developing the game in full secrecy to surprise the avid fans of GTA. It has been 3 years since the last installment came out. This is why the fans are very optimistic that this will be the year that they would finally play the long awaited game.

With that said, fans are not shy at all in bringing up guesses about the possible setup of the anticipated "GTA 6." Although there are different theories about the game, some may have a chance to be applied on it. One of which is the speculation that Rockstar might consider real-world locations for the next installment. Gossips tell that the setting could be outside the U.S., and that Japan or the U.K. is the perfect location for the rumored "GTA 6."

Aside from the location, what supporters of the franchise are talking about is Rockstar's move in relation to the game's protagonist. "Grand Theft Auto 5" was a breakthrough in terms of characters, because the game's developer introduced 3 playable characters, and for the first time, gamers were able to select a protagonist of their choice. It has been reported that fans also want "Grand Theft Auto 6" to be that way.

Moreover, it seems like there is chance that a female character would enter the next installment. According to rumors, a playable female protagonist may be included in the roster of characters. If Rockstar would consider this, then this would be the first time that the franchise will use a feminine touch to the game.

To sum it up, there is still no official confirmation that Rockstar is indeed currently developing a sequel for "Grand Theft Auto 5"; however, fans are very optimistic that in the following months, the game developer would finally release a statement about the long awaited game.
