Speculations are rife that Apple will be launching its Apple Watch 2 in March this year, and releasing it in April. Apple Watch 2 is rumored to have a camera, Face time and its own wireless connection.

Realty Today reported that Apple Watch 2 is slated to have a host of nifty features that could prove to be an improvement over its predecessor. This includes a Wi-Fi connection for apps, mail, weather updates, etc.

The watch will have Face Time video to make and attend video calls and conferences. It shall come with a better battery life for a longer usage. Moreover, Christian Post reported that Apple Watch 2 shall focus on fitness, with health sensors designed for sleep tracking and other forms of health monitoring.

Macrumors claims that Apple experimented over a year with sensors for measuring health indicators like skin conductivity, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels and some of these sensors might be incorporated in Apple Watch 2.

Pre-launch gossip regarding Apple Watch 2 suggests that it shall be thinner, sturdier than its predecessor.

Though many rumors place launch of Apple Watch 2 in March this year, Macrumors has also forecasted that launch may occur in mid- to late- 2016. Realty Today has reported that only a small batch of watches will be available in second quarter of 2016 and majority of shipment will take place in third quarter of this year.

The spring launch is being forecasted on basis of Apple's past release trends. Along with Apple Watch 2, other Apple products rumored to be launched in March are iPhone 6C, iPad 3, MacBook Air 2016.
