Meizu Pro 6 rumors suggest that the flagship smartphone will be coming with high-end specifications such as Helio X25 SoC, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

Meizu is working on a successor model for its last year's flagship, Meizu Pro 5. The upcoming Meizu Pro 6 is rumored to feature Helio X25 chipset from MediaTek, Giz China reported. During a recent event by MediaTek, the company announced that the Meizu Pro 6 will be the first smartphone to be powered with Helio X25 chipset.

The feature of Helio X20 and Helio X25 were both announced at the launch event. The Helio X20 will be the first chipset to feature ten-core processor. It features two Cortex A27 cores working at 2.3 GH and four Cortex A53 cores processing at 1.4 GHz.

The Helio X25 is an enhanced edition of the Helio X20 SoC. The two Cortex A72 cores will clock at a higher speed of 2.5 GHz. It also features a GPU that clocks at 850 MHz

Recently, it was also reported the Meizu Pro 6 will be coming with 6 GB of RAM. It second rumored smartphone after Vivo XPlay 5 Lite to come with 6 GB of RAM. Speculations indicate that the Pro 6 will be launched in two models. The first one will feature 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage whereas the second model will be coming with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, Gizmo China reported.

In the recent past, several smartphones like iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, Gionee S8, Huawei Mate S and ZTE Axon have come launched with pressure-sensitive screens. The Meizu Pro 6 is also expected to come with a pressure-sensitive display to support 3D Touch-like feature of the iPhone 6S. The screen of the Pro 6 is expected to support full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The Meizu Pro 5 is powered by Exynos 7420 that also powers the Galaxy Note 5. The Pro 6 is expected to come in another variant CPU variant of Exynos 8890. It is the same chipset that powers the Galaxy S7 smartphone.

Other rumored specs include fingerprint sensor and Android 6.0 Marshmallow overlaid with Flyme 3.0 UI  Since the Meizu Pro 5 had released in September last year, the Meizu Pro 6 release date is expected to happen in the same month this year.
