Android devices are now receiving notifications on upgrading their software to the latest Android M OS.

Almost all Android devices, especially smartphones, are probably receiving notifications about upgrading their software to the latest Android M 6.0, or known as the Marshmallow version. Companies like Samsung, HTC and Motorola have been advising their users that the update will soon hit their devices.

Droid Turbo 2 for Verizon has already received the update, and soon enough, other carriers in the U.S. like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular will roll out the Android 6 OS.

There has not been any exact date as to when the update will reach all of Android devices, hence, users should always check their notifications bar to see if an OTA for Marshmallow update is received or not. Since it has already reached Turbo 2 users for Verizon, the other US Carriers should also be receiving the OTA (over-the-air) update any time soon, but most definitely not later, according to Gospel Herald.

Motorola has started introducing Marshmallow version of Android 6.0 to its users, and updates are gradually reaching smartphones that needed this update. Another fact about this update is that users would need to wait for the Over-the-air feed before they can proceed with the update, as there has not been any way that users can manually update their device's software.

Considered as one of Motorolas's highly recommended units, and may be one of the famous handsets the company has ever created, Moto E 2015 has absolutely created a huge impact to the smart phone industry. Although, commercializing Moto E has lessen these past few weeks because this device has not been included on the list of devices that will surely get the Android M update. Apart from the confusion if Moto E did receive the update or not, what is even worse is that there are certain countries who will not get this version of Android.

Other devices like Samsung, OnePLus, HTC, LG, Sony and Google Nexus are said to be compatible with the current update. According to Know Your Mobile, currently, the update has reached India, and Australia is now gradually updating their devices.
