Samsung already started shipping its latest smartphones Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge ahead of its Mar. 11 release date to some American customers.

Pre-order of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge has begun on Feb. 23 and it is expected to officially launch on March 11. Fans of the South Korean consumer electronics manufacturer were on the lookout for early shipping notices.

Early shipping notices are always a realistic possibility, especially when Samsung and T-Mobile are concerned. In 2015, T-Mobile started sending them for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge as soon as Mar. 28 despite neither phone being slated for release before April 10, and it appears like something similar is happening again this year.

Some Reddit users who already pre-ordered their latest Galaxy device reported that they have inquired when they will be able to get their hands on it; T-Mobile representatives offered positive news for them. Both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are apparently already being packed and will start shipping as early as Feb. 29. The Reddit users received "It's on the way!" emails from T-Mobile.

Earlier this week, Samsung revealed that everyone who pre-ordered Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge will also receive a free Gear VR headset along with a 6-game bundle which amounts to around $150 in value, according to Android Headlines.

However, it is not yet clear whether this promotion will be available outside of the United States. As for the price tags, the cheapest customers can get the gadget bundle is on a 30-month contract for $23.17 and $26.50 per month underAT&T. But in general, regardless of the choice of a carrier, the Galaxy S7 will be sold at little under $700 in total, while consumers who pick the Galaxy S7 Edge need to shell out around $100 more.

Both Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge feature wireless charging and expandable storage, making them as one of the best smartphones this year. The South Korean company's mobile chief Koh Dong-jin recently revealed that the Galaxy S7 flagship will be available in 60 countries in the first wave of its global launch, GSM Arena reported.
