‘Plants vs Zombies’ evolution from past to present – important details about the game; release date of ‘PvZ Garden Warfare 2’

Series of additional contents, updates, significant changes and everything, "PvZ" has really established its name in the gamers' world.

PopCap Games and Electronic Arts collaborated again for the sequel "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2." This sequel is the third person shooter and tower defense game created by Electronic Arts and PopCap.

"Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare 2's" trailer was launched formally last June of 2015. The launching trailer showcases new classes of zombies and the newest mode addition, Graveyard Ops. Other updates, content additions as well as character changes and addition was launched almost every month from the third quarter towards the last quarter of 2015. Their December announcement includes launch of "Plants versus Zombies" on gaming consoles come Feb. 23, 2016.

In Jan. 7, developers of "Plants vs Zombies" revealed that a beta version of the game is to be released on Xbox One and PS4 from Jan. 14 to Jan. 18. Avid gamers can use different game modes like Backyard Battleground, Seeds of Time and other modes available in the beta version. For players who can advance more into the game, other maps can also be unlocked. Other modes, characters and maps are also seen on the beta game, but players could not access it until the full edition of the game is launched and purchased, according to Gaming Bolt.  

"Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" will let its players portray either one of the plants or the zombies. "PvZGW2" can be played by more than 2 players using the Multiplayer game mode or the Graveyard Ops, where there can be four players in the game using co-op defense mode. Xbox One and PS4's versions of this game can use split-screen co-op in all modes of the game.

The advantage of having to play the original "Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare" is gamer will be able to bring in their earned rewards and character from the original to this sequel, IGN reported.
