A leaked photo of the alleged OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone has emerged.

The OnePlus 2 smartphone was launched in July 2015 to replace the older OnePlus One smartphone. The rumor mill has started talking about the OnePlus 3 smartphone that would be launched later this year to replace the OnePlus 2. A leaked photo of the smartphone has been revealed, Times News UK reported.

The publication has also published a video clip of a concept model of the OnePlus 3 designed by Jermaine Smit. The short video does not reveal the smartphone properly but only shows a glimpse of it.

The OnePlus 3 concept model shows the smartphone with an attractive metal frame. Compared to OnePlus One and OnePlus 2, the concept edition of OnePlus 3 appears to be curvier. It shows the smartphone sporting a brush metal rear panel. The OnePlus 3 is expected to be available in several variants of back panel such as sandstone, brush metal and ceramic.

The leaked photo of OnePlus 3 shows the smartphone in a sleek jet black color, Phone Arena reported. There is no confirmation on whether the alleged smartphone seen in the leaked photo is the upcoming OnePlus 3 flagship.

The rumor mill has already the purported specs of the OnePlus 3.  It will be a phablet device that will feature a 5.5-inch display. OnePlus may not offer Quad HD resolution on OnePlus 3. Hence, it is expected to support full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

OnePlus 3 will be coming with the most powerful Snapdragon 820 chipset that features a quad-core processor and Adreno 503 graphics. Rumors suggest that it will be available in two storage options. The 16 GB variant is expected to come with 4 GB of RAM and the 64 GB model is likely to feature 5 GB of RAM.

The rear camera of OnePlus 3 will be of 13 MP. It will be coming with a front-facing camera of 5 MP. It will arrive pre-installed wit Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS that will be modified by OxygenOS from OnePlus. Lastly, it will be packed with a huge battery of 3500 mAh capacity. The OnePlus 3 release date rumors indicate that it will be unveiled to the world in the third quarter this year.
