Xbox One players will no longer be the only ones who can go on an adventure with Square Enix's latest title, "Rise of the Tomb Raider." Come Jan. 28, Windows 10 PC players can already get into Lara Croft's groove once the game hits retailers.

The release of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" on the Windows 10 shows the extent of partnership that Microsoft had with Square Enix and developer Crystal Dynamics, as per Major Nelson's blog.

More than just a port, however, the developer has added some features to the PC edition that are specific to the Windows 10. 4K resolution support spearheads these new features, alongside the inclusion of VXAO tech from Nvidia.

Besides the release date, Microsoft has also revealed some editions that fans can avail of. There is the Standard Edition for $60, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will run for $90 for those who also want to DLC pass, GameSpot reported. Finally, there is a special Collector's Edition. The package comes complete with a 12-inch Lara Croft figure, replicas of both the jade necklace and Lara's journal and a steel case. All of these will be out for $150, but the collector's edition can also be ordered via Square Enix's online store.

The minimum specs for the PC of "Rise of the Tomb Raider" have also been released by the developer. Players will need to have the Windows 7 64-bit, intel i3-2100 or an AMD equivalent, NVIDIA GTX 650 2GB or AMD HD7770 2GB, 6GB of RAM, 25GB of HD space and DirectX 11, GameSpot reported.

Additionally, Square Enix has also confirmed that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" will have 4K support. According to the developer, the team did this as they want to offer players the chance to go through the game with far more superior detail. This is also Square Enix's way of showing their appreciation for the devotion of PC fans, whom the developer feels will be able to enjoy the 4K Support.

"Rise of the Tomb Raider" is a PC creation from Crystal Dynamics and Nixxes Software. Both online and in-store copies will be released, as well as Square Enix's official online store.
