Google has found itself in a bit of a run recently on Lambs Lane in Southeast Austin. Folks there are accusing the company of causing excessive damages due to its "Google Fiber" rollout in the city. The company has done the same thing in several parts of the United States, but Austin seems to be a bit difficult than most.

For months now, over a dozen neighbors who live on Lambs Lane have complained about Google's activities. Some have fallen into a fit of anger, frustration, and even tears so it can be sure that what Google is doing is quite bothersome.

What is Google doing exactly? Well, do rollout fiber in a community, Google must dig in and around areas. It seems as if some of the digging has caused water to run off into the homes of several citizens. This water managed to destroy many of their possessions. They believe the construction of the fiber network has damaged them, and as such, they are seeking answers from the search giant.

"We are ruined," an emotional Arnulfo Cruz, 51, says in Spanish between waves of tears. "We don't understand. I don't know what to do. I don't sleep at night because I don't know what is happening tomorrow."

Google draw a lot of attention when it announced that it plans to roll out its gigabyte fiber network in Austin. The attention it got from citizens wasn't bad at all because such a construction brings jobs and overall, a faster internet service to the community.

According to a report from UberGizmo, around 363 persons complained about internet provider's activities back in 2015 in the city of Austin. Now here's where things get interesting. Of the 363, 254 are connected to Google Fiber and its contractors alone.

AT&T and Time Warner had around 100 complaints combined.

It is easy to see why Google has more complaints than everyone else because it is working on bringing fiber to the communities. Other service providers have already done that, so there's not much work to be done that might cause problems for the life of citizens.

According to statement from Parisa Fatehi-Weeks, Google Fiber's community impact manager, Google Fiber's number one priority is all about being a good neighbor, so any complaint from citizens can be brought directly to the company.
