Here is a brief comparison of both devices to help users choose what suits for them.

Design and Build

iPhone 6S Plus has the same design as that of last year's iPhone 6 Plus. Apple used stronger aluminum this time, which improves an improved grip of the phone. The new aluminum also makes the phone stronger so no more bend-gate just like what happened to the Apple iPhone 6 Plus.

Meanwhile, Huawei Nexus 6P has new design with a bulged camera covered with black glass. Its aluminum gives a very premium feel, and Nexus 6P's soft edges makes it easy to hold in the hand.

Display

Both smartphones have gorgeous display panels. The Apple iPhone 6S is equipped with 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD display screen at 401ppi pixel density. Nexus 6P, on the other hand, has a 5.7-inch WQHD 2,560 x 1,440 AMOLED screen display that translates to 518ppi.

Hardware

Nexus 6P runs on octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with an Adreno 430 GPU. The smartphone is backed with 3GB of RAM, and has three storage options - 32GB, 64GB or 128GB. Apple iPhone 6S Plus, on the other hand, is powered by a 64-bit A9 processor with 2GB of RAM. It also has M9 motion coprocessor to help in various less intrusive tasks, and also helps to save iPhone 6s Plus' battery.

Camera

Apple has improved the camera in 6S to 12 megapixel shooter, with OIS and 4K video recording. The secondary camera of iPhone 6S Plus is 5 megapixel shooter that is very suitable for sharp selfies. Apple iPhone's camera can also deliver good images in low light. Nexus 6P, on the other hand, has a 12.3 megapixel primary camera with laser auto-focus and no OIS. Secondary camera of the Nexus flagship is at 8 megapixel shooter that is definitely good for selfies.

It's hard to decide between the two phones as both of them exel in their own fields.

Nexus 6P is priced at $500 (16GB) to $650 for the 128GB model, while Apple iPhone 6S Plus is much expensive at $750 for the 16GB model and up to $950 for the 128GB model.
