Apple has officially announced what the iOS 11 is all about and the mobile operating system is currently available for beta testing. But the main question that plays in the mind: Is it worth the trouble of test driving?

To be sure, it's exciting to take a plunge immediately and get a feel of the same OS that will run the iPhone 8 show so why not. But as warned by WCCFTech, beta 1 of iOS 11 is certainly not for the average users as there will be issued to be encountered and some could even cause too much trouble. Good thing there's always a walk back or a way to downgrade when the heat just becomes unbearable.

Best thing to do now is wait out perhaps until beta 3 or 4, which Apple should be seeding in the next few weeks. By then, the tons of issues detected in the earlier beta releases will have been resolved.

Redmond Pie also recommended saving SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.x before moving up to iOS 11, and for the obvious of being able to jailbreak in case the rumors pan out that an iOS 10.3 jailbreak release (compatible too with iOS 10.3.1) will happen around August and could originate from multiple sources. Among the candidates are Team Pangu, TaiG and Luca Todesco.

It's important to note too that iOS 11 is Apple killing the 32-bit mobile platform, meaning even if a jailbreak tool will be made available on the OS there is no way earlier iPhone, iPad and iPod models can take advantage of the solution.

In a report, iDownloadBlog.com said iOS 11 will certainly run on iPhone 5S and up, iPad Mini 2 and up and the sixth-generation iPod. These devices are naturally the same that will be able to accommodate an iOS 11 jailbreak tool.

And as mentioned above, a jailbreak on iOS 11 is not yet even in the speculative stage. The more solid prospect is that of an iOS 10.3-10.3.1 jailbreak release, and the realization of which is still dependent on how really usable the purported KPP exploit that security researcher Adam Donenfeld will share to the public this coming August.
