The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature a console function report and "Rate This Match" mode removed from the game.

It seems that console users are having a problem playing "Overwatch" online after several players are using DDOS attacks to get ahead in the game.

According to recent Reddit post, east one unnamed top 500 player on PlayStaion 4 is using these illicit methods to rank up in "Overwatch." The player in question is taking advantage of a glitch in the Playstation Network that allows them to get the IP address of players in their party.

This player will join a game and send party invites to each player of his opponent's team in "Overwatch." Anyone who accepts the player then gets DDOSed out of the game. The hacker openly bragged about it and console users have been making complaints ever since.

As such console players have been requesting for a console function report feature in "Overwatch," but such a thing has not been announced. And while players are encouraged to email Blizzard's Hacks team, consiole clients does not let these players know about this at all. On the PC version, the new report function has helped weed out players like this and typically is responded to in a quick fashion.

Problems like these highlights how important having a report function in "Overwatch" in order to maintain a good and enjoyable gameplay, PvP Live reported.

Meanwhile, Blizzard Entertainment removed the "Rate This Match" function in "Overwatch" as part of the most recent PTR patch 1.12.

While not everything that comes through the PTR becomes permanent, much of it does, which means the feature’s removal will likely go live in "Overwatch" soon.

Game director Jeff Kaplan stated his reasons for removing "Rate this Match" in "Overwatch" as he explained that they had high hopes for the feature, but the developement team learned just three things from it. The first was that new players tend to use the Rate This Match feature more than already existing players. The rest they learned was fairly obvious: that players enjoy winning and dislike losing.

Kaplan and team to reduce as much clutter in the UI as possible and seeing as they are not getting tremendous results from the feature, they decided to remove it from "Overwatch" for good, Gamerant reported.

The upcoming patch 1.12 will feature the new map "Horizon Lunar Colony," as well as changes from three characters; Roadhog getting an increased nerf damage, while McCree and Reaper will have significant buffs to their abilities.

"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
