The recently released Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 smartphones will soon be running Android 8.0 or Android O. Once the upcoming OS update from Google will arrive, it is expected that such devices will incorporate its impressive features.

HMD Global has confirmed that the Finnish brand's latest Android smartphones will be receiving a major update. While most people are enjoying the current Android 7 Nougat, some users are waiting for a customized Android experience on their Nokia phones.

Although no confirmation yet on how Google's Android O will improve Nokia 5, Nokia 3, and Nokia 6 smartphones, it anticipated that the new Android 8.0 would bring revamped settings, notification snooze, new emojis, notification badges and improved battery, according to The Android Soul.

As of the current writing, the public beta of the said Google OS update had been made available for use. With the said operating system, it is expected that 'fluid experiences' will be encountered by its users, according to PC Advisor.

It is said as such for devices will be faster, for devices will boot twice as fast than the time when it is still running Nougat. By default, apps will run faster and smoother with the upcoming Android 8.0.

Although the company behind the latest Nokia Android smartphones has confirmed the arrival of Android O to their devices, its release date is yet to be revealed. Up to now, details yet are being given by the company.

Apart from the Nokia phones, other notable brands are said to be upgrading their OS as well. It is believed that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will also be receiving an Android O update from Google.

Meanwhile, the global release Nokia smartphones in 2017 are yet to be completed. There are still other countries and regions that haven't been reached by the Nokia fever.
