Xiaomi's smartphones, may be as good as that of many other known brands, still have a great demand as they are affordable and give more value for money. In a futile effort to catch big fishes, US Mobiles added a couple of Xiaomi phones to their shelves, but failed to make it a big business.

Although Xiaomi has not entered the U.S. market officially, it enjoys a decent business there through international resellers, as customers can avail more features for an affordable price. However, the recent effort of carrier US Mobiles to launch Xiaomi's smartphones has failed miserably.

The US Mobiles offered Xiaomi M4 for a price of $219 and Xiaomi M3 for $135. Although the offer was attractive, US Mobiles had to stop it half way. Initially, the people visited the page got a reply that there is no stock available, and later on, US Mobiles published a blog saying it will not sell Xiaomi phones anymore.

According to reports, though filled with many features, they are not suitable for U.S. operations. Especially U.S. LTE bands are not supported with Xiaomi smartphones. Secondly, many reports have come out stating that US Mobiles has no legitimate relation with Xiaomi to sell their products in the U.S.

Although speculations are taking round about the entry of Xiaomi in the U.S. market, a recent report quoting official sources said that Xiaomi is interested to sell only some small accessories in the U.S. through Mi.com.

The company sources said it clearly that they do not have any plans to sell their smartphones in the US through distributors. Although the controversy has ended with this statement, it put US Mobiles under shadow of suspicion.

Anyway, there are many people in the U.S. who are still waiting for the company to launch their products officially in the U.S. market.
