A noticeable change, which is a pretty big move by BioWare is it is now an open world game. The means brace you with a lot of exploring. The rooms filled with high walls in the past are now accessible. You will go through diversity working with bipedal aliens and meet other critters from other planets. What is different from the real world is if you snipe an enemy from afar, no one bothers.

Nothing shocking as well are the planets. You can change the weather, like snow or sand but it will not have any effect on your gameplay. One funny mission is it let you drive an asteroid. It just gives an impression that all planets and asteroids do have the same gravity level. Basically, exploring the open world only gives a little excitement.

But as a requirement, you must explore. Go through a series of conversations, planet traversing, and scanning because before you can play side games, you must check off first planets that are needed to be eligible. Loyalty missions, on the other hand, though with other player is fun. It takes place on a spaceship that shifts gravity from time to time.

As per Gamespot, Mass Effect: Andromeda - Patch 1.07 is now available. They have tried it on a PS4. It fixes server auto disconnect, crash on UNC Outlaw, unlock the athletic casual outfit, issue preventing Nomad upgrade completion and >1080p UI placement. The patch can also be run and use on PC and Xbox One.

Initial criticism about the game is focused mainly on its graphics and animation. Fans are thinking that makers rushed the making of the game just to meet the deadline. It has ups and down, some scenes were prioritized and others were left behind.  They are still giving BioWare a chance since it is their first attempt to open world gaming. They just wish that patches will be created as soon as possible to fix the glitches.
