New details for "Tekken 7" will feature a patch update after the console launch and a gameplay trailer streamed online.

It seems that Bandai Namco Entertainment is releasing a patch update for "Tekken 7" after its launch date next month. Game producer Katsuhiro Harada has confirmed the patch via tweet and along with possibly addressing some lingering issues, the patch may also contain some balance tweaks.

Post-launch patches are nothing new for new and upcoming games, but still, gaming fans will likely want to know about this ahead of time so that they can take that into account as they plan for "Tekken 7's" arrival.

While Harada's tweet seems to suggest that the post-release patch coming to "Tekken 7" will not be a major one, there are fans hoping that it may contain surprises such as additional characters.

To be more specific, some fans who commented on Harada's tweet are making it pretty clear that they would like to see Anna Williams, Julia Chang and Lei Wulong in the roster, since they are absence in the sequel, EventHubs reported.

Still, even if fans may want to see those characters added, Harada did not confirm that they will eventually become members of the roster.

Those hoping that these characters may be made available as DLCs seem to be out of luck too, as Harada previously confirmed that classic "Tekken" characters will not be sold. Instead, the DLC roster additions are expected to be guest characters from other video game licenses.

Meanwhile, a new gameplay trailer for "Tekken 7 has been streamed online featuring several character rivalries.

The video showcased fighters like Master Raven vs Sergei Dragunov, Asuka Kazama vs Lili and Leo vs Yoshimitsu, Gematsu reported.

Bandai Namco previously streamed a gameplay trailer featuring characters such as Kuma, Josie Rizal, Ling Xiaoyu, Claudio Serafino, Paul Phoenix, Panda, and Shaheen. Not to mention, "Tekken 7's" opening scene on how the Mishima family started and how it will end.

"Tekken 7" will launch on June 2 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
