Imminent Release of Rumored Pangu iOS 10.3 Jailbreak as Apple Officially Deploys Firmware v. 10.3.2?

As predicted, Apple issued iOS 10.3.2 on March 15 that essentially fulfilled one condition for the rumored Pangu iOS 10.3 jailbreak to be released. Supposedly, the Chinese hacking group will want to see first the finalized firmware version 10.3.2 and make sure the exploits they're working on remain unpatched.

Will there be an imminent jailbreak release, and one that will improve on the Yalu102 JB tool earlier provided by Luca Todesco?

Per iDownloadBlog.com, the latest iOS release will improve the security of compatible iPhones and iPads, and there will be the mandatory bug fixes. Jailbreak fans know that an iOS release packed with such enhancements could spell doom both for an existing and soon-to-come-out crack. So far, there is no solid indication that iOS 10.3.2 is a jailbreak killer.

However, Todesco has previously stated that the firmware 10.3 and up can potentially put a complete stop on jailbreaking. While the iOS security researcher stopped short of sharing the specifics, many assumed that the difficulty in jailbreaking beginning with iOS 10 was due to Apple's decision to gradually move away from the HFS+ file system. By the time iOS 10.3 is in full effect, the old file system will be no more and in its place File System APFS will be fully implemented.

With the new system, there will be new encryption protocols and other security layers that are designed to make it hard to poke inside iOS, and therefore make it impossible to modify the mobile OS. Reports said this was likely the reason why Todesco earlier declared his exit from the public jailbreak scene.

But before the end of April, Team Pangu has reportedly bypassed the wall that acts as iOS 10.3 security and proved its achievement by sharing a clip of a jailbroken iPhone 7 that runs on iOS 10.3. The jailbreak when released will supposedly support iOS devices compatible with versions 10.3 and 10.3.1, and will work on all 64-bit devices, starting with the iPhone 5S and up, for instance.

Now that iOS 10.3.2 is out, soon it will be seen if the Pangu demo of iOS 10.3 jailbreak is real or will end up as another fake promise from the Chinese hacking group. Just in case the jailbreak tool is indeed coming out and one has already made a jump to version 10.3.2, WCCFTech offered a guide to downgrade from the firmware en route to iOS 10.3.1.

The tutorial will work until Apple stops signing version 10.3.1, and it is strongly to walk back now if the plan is to get the rumored Pangu iOS 10.3 jailbreak, if and when the solution releases.
