Following the demo in China that showcased a jailbroken iPhone 7 running on iOS 10.3, rumors spread that Team Pangu will provide a public jailbreak that works on firmware versions 10.3 and 10.3.1 at the start of May. It did not happen but hope remains the Pangu jailbreak will finally show up any time after the 15th of the month.

The teaser from Shanghai, China also indicated that barring the emergence of major problems the Pangu iOS 10.3 jailbreak will be made public in the first week of May. It was hinted too that the Chinese hacking group was looking for a cue from Apple before making their big move - the official release of iOS 10.3.2 to confirm that the exploits they're working still unpatched.

So it can be assumed that Team Pangu deliberately delayed their next jailbreak release as 10.3.2 is still in beta 5. According to Gotta Be Mobile, the firmware will become official this week since it's unimaginable that iOS 11 will be introduced on June 5 via the WWDC 2017 and 10.3.2 will get stuck on beta status.

The likely scenario will be - Apple will deploy iOS 10.3.2 beginning May 15 and latest would be May 22 as the next Monday is an unlikely release option for the tech giant since the day is Memorial Day or a holiday. So between May 15 and the days before May 29, the chance is high iOS 10.3.2 will become official.

And if rumors surrounding the Pangu iOS 10.3 jailbreak release are correct, then the solution will come out after the 15th of the month but no later than the 29th. Again, this is based is Apple's iOS release pattern and the speculations that Team Pangu will only finalize their jailbreak work the moment iOS 10.3.2 is made official.

But then again, all the rumors will not amount to anything solid, meaning Pangu will not provide the iOS 10.3 jailbreak after all. Which exactly what transpired last year when the same group got the jailbreaking world excited when Cydia was demoed running on iOS 10 even before the OS was released. In short, Pangu not following through with what it teased was not out of character at all.

Should that be the case, jailbreak fans will have to make do with the Yalu jailbreak solutions from Luca Todesco and cross their fingers that the iOS security researcher will fulfill his promise of soon moving up the Yalu102 jailbreak from beta 7 to 8. Or better yet, finalize the jailbreak and make it run on all 64-bit devices.
