New post-launch content for "Nier: Automata" has been released. Titled 3C3C1D119440927, the first batch of the post-launch downloadable content (DLC) from Platinum Games throws in extra fights in various arenas on top of new equipment and cosmetic items.

Toms Hardware reported that the three "Nier: Automata" arenas or colosseums in the game parlance will challenge players by throwing a small horde of enemies. If the gamer successfully defeats the enemies and manage to remain alive, the game shall then reward the player with interesting items.

According to Kotaku, the game rewards include various colors for the gamer's hair, different Nier: Replicant costumes and a set of appearances for enemy bullets. Gamers can also gain masks as rewards. Players would enjoy the special effects rendered by such masks when equipped.

To increase excitement, "Nier: Automata" also offers subquests for players to enjoy. However, details of such subquests and the corresponding objectives were not made unavailable.

Meanwhile, gamers who find the enemies stationed in the colosseum too easy can up the game and test their skills in the toughest "Nier: Automata" challenges. A two-on-one boss battle against Yosuke Matsuda and Kenichi Sato, the CEOs of Square Enix and Platinum Games respectively, is available for those who crave for more challenge and wish to prove their game prowess.

As the game trailer revealed last month, fighting one boss is tough and facing two bosses at the same time will require supreme skills. Every move is critical, and one wrong push might be the difference between victory and defeat.

Meanwhile, gamers are thrilled about the release of the game's DLC tagged as 3C3C1D119440927. To those who are puzzled by its name, the name is a partial reference to the game contents itself.

The first portion "3C3C" refers to the game's costume rewards as well as the three colosseums that are included in the new content. The remaining characters of the DLC title translate to "1 Dream and Date 119440927," a mystery that gamers have to solve on their own.
