Rumors have been claiming that Galaxy Note 8 will be the first dual rear camera smartphone from Samsung. However, fresh information suggest that an upcoming Galaxy C smartphone would be the first phone from the South Korean company to come with dual rear cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones were launched on March 29. It was rumored that Samsung was supposed to introduce dual rear camera feature on Galaxy S8 phones, but it decided to cancel the feature at the end moment. Soon after the introduction of Galaxy S8 phones, a prototype of the phone showing featuring twin rear camera had surfaced, Playful Droid reported.

Speculations have it that the smartphone could be arriving as Galaxy Note 8. This led to new rumors that the Note 8 would be the first Samsung phone to house dual rear camera. However, fresh information suggests that Samsung's new smartphone from the Galaxy C lineup would be arriving with dual rear cameras.

A leaked sketch has appeared on Weibo showing a vertically arranged dual rear camera setup on a mysterious Galaxy C phone. The upper and lower portion of the rear panel has antenna bands. The drawing does not show the presence of rear-mounted fingerprint reader which means the phone may be featuring it on the front side,

The mysterious Galaxy C phone is slated to get announced before August because the Galaxy Note 8 is slated to get unveiled in the same month or in Septembers. Rumors have it that it is powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset that is slated to get an official announcement on May 9. Even though the unknown Galaxy C phone would be as the first dual rear camera smartphone from Samsung, the South Korean is pegged to pack the best twin rear cameras on the Galaxy Note 8.
