The latest updates for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will feature explanations on DLC Pack 3's Parallel Quests and "Future Trunks" storyline added for DLC Pack 4.

Bandai Namco Entertainment launched the DLC Pack 3 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, while the PC version will be out the next day. The DLC Pack 3 will feature new playable characters in the form of Super Saiyan Rose Black Goku and Zamasu from the "Future Trunks" saga and Bojack from "Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound" OVA film.

The DLC Pack 3 for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will focus on the "Future Trunks" arc from "Dragon Ball Super" as the story will feature Future Trunks saving his timeline from the Black Goku and Zamasu, and seeks help from Son Goku and his father Vegeta to defeat them.

The arc also revealed that Black Goku is an alternate version of the corrupted Kaioshin, Zamasu as he took over the body of his world's Son Goku and killed him and his family. He is also allies with the Zamasu of Future Trunks's timeline and started a plan to eradicate every mortal in the universe to fulfill his twisted desire to destroy humanity.

However, there are rumors making rounds that the "Future Trunks" storyline will not likely be featured in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 3 as the story itself will likely be added in DLC Pack 4 alongside Merged Zamasu and Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, The Christian Post reported.

Still, gaming fans will still enjoys several new perks from the DLC Pack 3 of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" such as new attacks, outfits, emotes and a new master Bojack that players can learn from and obtain new techniques.

There are also new win conditions for the new Parallel Quests that will help players handle the situation when they face new challenges. Three Parallel Quests are present in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" and the first one is called "The Future’s Greatest Hope" where in Future Trunks trains with Son Goku, Vegeta and is younger self to prepare to fight Black Goku and honor Bulma's last request.

The second Parallel Quest is called "Doppelganger Dispute!" as Black Goku was able to find Future Trunks in the past and he faces off against Son Goku, but Bojack joins the fray.

Lastly, the third Parallel Quest is called "A Fateful Fight with Deity!" where in the players will join Son Goku and Vegeta into Future Trunks's timeline and defeat Black Goku as they change the course of history, Saiyan Island reported.

Game producer Masayuki Hirano stated the publisher's desire to bring in contents from "Dragon Ball Super" to the game. Hirano also pointed out that they are looking into the possibilities of incorporating future contents based on community suggestions.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is currently available in the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
