Rumors on Apple iOS 10 release date and possible features is giving rise to speculations that we may see the launch of the said Apple OS on June 2016, when the annual Worldwide Developers Conference is hosted by Apple.

The news is that, developers will very shortly be able to download the iOS 10 and begin testing with their apps for ensuring that they work perfectly. Apple is taking three to four month gap between the announcement and release of iOS 10, only to give developers an opportunity to rectify all errors, if any. It is also for them to add new features to third party iOS apps in time for the general release, expected to be made in June this year.

Reports also say that non-developers will be able to download not until September this year, which coincides with an iPhone launch made every year by Apple. The release date is rumored to be around mid September, just before iPhone 7 will hit the market, although official announcement is still awaited. According to reports from Redmond Pie, even users at the administrator level will find it impossible to gain access to some files in the system on either iPhone, iPad or Mac.

Speaking about the new features that the IOS 10 is expected to sport, rumors say that a new app called Home could be introduced. Other rumors and speculations suggest that a rootless security system is to be incorporated in the device, which could make it hard, if not impossible to jailbreak.
