The specifications of the rumored Essential Phone from Andy Rubin, the co-creator of Android operating system, has been leaked through its GFXBench listing.

The Essential Phone has been spotted with model number Essential FIH-PM1 It is the same model number that was previously spotted on Geekbench. The mentioning of the FIH in the model number stands for Foxconn International Holdings. On Geekbench, the Essential Phone has scored 1844 points on single-core test. In the multi-core test, the phone has recorded a score of 5426 points, Phone Arena reported.

On GFXBench, the Essential Phone is spotted with a 5.5-inch display that offers a resolution of 1,312 x 2,560 pixels. It means the phone would be supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Snapdragon 835 SoC seems to be powering the device as the GFXBench listing shows the presence of Adreno 540 graphics. The SoC features an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.2 GHz.  The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM.

The native storage of the Essential Phone is 16 GB. Since it is a flagship phone, it is likely that the phone would be coming with multiple storage options. It has a 12-megapixel rear snapper and a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. There is no autofocus feature available for the rear camera. The phone is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It also carries support for NFC connectivity.

Andy Rubin has himself teased that the 5.5-inch display will be coming with a bezel-less design. It is speculated to be a pressure-sensitive screen and offer function like 3D Touch available on Apple iPhones, Gizmo China reported.

The company through which the Essential Phone will be released is called Essential Products, Inc. The Essential Phone is expected to come with some form of modular capabilities. A rumored module can possibly allow the phone to snap 360-degree high resolution photos. It is likely that the phone may get unveiled in second half of 2017.
