To start off, Tabata and Ofuji showcased some of "Final Fantasy XV's" new in-game animations which sees Noctis and Gladious pushing their car the Regalia, as well as a new "camp events" cutscenes which features the gang playing darts with other NPC characters. New combat moves are also introduced in the game such as "Ghosting", Parry chains, Cross chains, Spear abilities and Elemancy that sees Noctis cast fire spell on enemies.

It was reported that a leaked image of the magical attacks explained that gamers should be careful in using magic throughout the field as using fire spell can spread throughout and will cause serious damage not only to the enemy units, but to your allies as well. It also features new monsters and enemy units such as mechs.

Square Enix also showcased a second gameplay footage for "Final Fantasy XV" as it sees Noctis and his friends Prompto, Gladoius and Ignis sneaking around a Niflheim base. Stealth elements are added to the game and Noctis' warp ability can be very effective when utilizing stealth kills. Team work is also vital in the footage as Noctis will rely on his friends Cross chains and X Strikes against Niflheim soldiers and their gigantic mechs. Noctis can also use the enemy's machine gun turrets for larger enemies and fire magic to create a huge explosion, causing some major damage to the field.

New characters from the Niflheim Empire are introduced within the game such as Emperor Iedolas Aldercapt, Chancellor Ardyn Izunia, General Glauca and the mysterious female dragoon fighter Aranea Highwind. The Niflheim Empire are the main protagonist within "Final Fantasy XV" as they intend to take over the world and obtain the last crystal, which is found in Noctis' homeland.

Lastly, Square Enix announced that another playable demo for "Final Fantasy XV" will be featured in the upcoming March event. Dubbed as "Final Fantasy Uncovered", the event will start on March 30 7:00 PM Pacific Time in Los Angeles, California, IGN reported. The said event could be Square Enix big announcement on the official release date of "Final Fantasy XV" as Tabata promised gaming fans that the sequel will indeed launch this year.

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch sometime this year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
