OnePlus is largely rumored to skip the number 4 moniker, as it's considered unlucky in Chinese culture. However, there was no solid evidence to testify for this claim, up until now. The OnePlus model was first spotted in a recent report that carries the number A5000, hinting that the next smartphone will be called OnePlus 5. Meanwhile, Xiaomi has issued some marketing materials for its next Xiaomi Mi6 launch, which is apparently taking the wraps off anytime between the 17th and 21st April.

OnePlus 5: Rumored Design, Features, And Specs

OnePlus is set to unveil the device sometime in the second half of 2017, and leaks of the device have been aplenty. The OnePlus 5 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC with a hefty 8GB of RAM. It is expected to feature a 5.5-inch 2K display of 1080x2048 pixels and may come with bumped up storage at 256 GB. As for the camera, the OnePlus 5 is said to sport a 23-megapixel rear camera with features like 5X Optical Zoom, image stabilization, and flash, a 16-megapixel selfie camera for the front.

Xiaomi Mi6 And Mi Plus: Rumored Design, Features, And Specs

Several leaks suggest to sport a 5.1-inch Full-HD display and will run on Android Nougat. The Mi6 Plus could have a Quad HD 2K OLED display. As far as the camera is concerned, it is tipped to sport a dual 12MP rear camera with a 4K video recording capability. As for the front camera, it will be clocked at 8MP. The battery could be as large as 4,000 mAh and will be backed by Quick Charge 4.0 technology. Both devices will house the latest power-packed Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. All this will be smoothly supported by 4 GB of Ram, and the internal storage will be 64/128 GB, while the Mi6 Plus will have a 6GB RAM.
