The game developer has confirmed that "Pokemon Go" Easter Eggstravaganza will go live today, April 13 at 9:00 p.m. In this event, trainers will have their chance to hatch rare Pokeon from 2 km Eggs. They will also get more candy for each Pokemon hatched from an egg.

Other than that, the latest event will enable players to increase their levels faster and enjoy a double XP. They can also avail of 50 per cent off for Lucky Eggs at the in-game shop and they can earn XP points four times than the normal rate when Lucky Eggs are used.

This latest "Pokemo Go" event is limited for a week, however and players should avail of this opportunity to earn more points and rewards before it's over.

In more news, Niantic is also brewing the game's next update that will introduce a cooperative social gameplay experience in "Pokemon Go". The company added that this new feature will give new reason for players to go play the game outdoors again this spring.

Some data miners, on the other hand, discovered that apart from the confirmed co-op gameplay, some hidden codes in the game files indicate that the spring update will also bring in nearby raids and updated gym features.

The details regarding this data mined features are scant at this point, but they claimed that based on the codes, players will get notifications whenever there's a raid close to the players. As for the updated gym feature, Niantic earlier revealed that the team is in fact working on improving the gym battles, so, this might not come as a surprise.

Fans can look forward to a major gym overhaul coming in the next update for "Pokemon Go". In the meantime, everyone should stay tuned for the Easter Eggstravaganza that will go live hours from now.
