LG is out to prove that its G6 is the most reliable smartphone available on the market today. Despite its beauty, the device is also said to be tough, durable and rugged. To prove this claim, experts have decided to put the LG G6 to a test using the Rude Goldberg machine.

According to Slash Gear, Rude Goldberg is a set of machines that are activated, once one of them is activated. Some have compared it to the domino effect, but it is more complex as it includes wheels and levers.

Rude Goldberg was used to test the durability of the G6. It started with a water test, and then dust proofing before the phone was subjected to some slides and tumbles. The LG G6 also went through a freeze and heat testing to confirm if the handset can withstand different temperatures.

Android Authority noted that LG was not only focusing on the resistance of the G6 but is also concerned with other features that it could offer to its consumers. The company has reportedly improved the device's charging, battery safety, camera app and display quality. One of the high points of the device is said to be its wide-angle camera.
