The epic trailer for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" has been leaked and all over the internet now. The teaser has now confirmed that the sequel to the Battlefront series will feature the major characters like Rey, Kylo Ren as well as Darth Maul, including the new hero for the game's story mode.

The recent leak of the trailer for "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" must have spoiled plans of Electronic Arts to show the teaser at the Star Wars Celebration this coming weekend. It is scheduled to be shown on Saturday, April 15 at 11:30 a.m. A PST.

Snippets of information have been broken from the leaked trailer, which has also offered a first look at the game's new set of characters. These include "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" hero Rey and villainous Kylo Ren. Other characters shown are Darth Mauel and Yoda.

Despite that the sneak peek has not offered a gameplay footage, fans now know that "Star Wars: Battlefront 2" will feature battles from various eras of the Star Wars universe. Also, EA Dice has now confirmed the addition of the single-player campaign of the sequel, which fans demanded in the first game.

Moreover, it looks like the story mode for the upcoming Battlefront game will feature an imperial stormtrooper as the new hero. Interestingly enough, the said character has an uncanny resemblance and similar voice with "Sleepy Hollow" tv series actress Janina Gavankar.

On Twitter, fans have extended their congratulations to Gavankar despite that the actress has not confirmed yet her involvement in the second installment of the franchise. This is perhaps, due to a non-disclosure agreement she signed with EA.

The actress, however, tweeted back in February that she's currently working on a secret project and it appears that everyone knows what she talked about back then. Gavankar also worked in Ubisoft's "Far Cry 4".

"Star Wars: Battlefront 2" has no solid release date as of yet but rumor has it that it will be out in September on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC. Watch the full clip of the leaked trailer below but still, fans will have to find out this Saturday if EA will unveil the same trailer or possibly an extended cut version at the Star Wars-centric event.
