Dolphin, the best-known GameCube and Wii emulator, appears to run perfectly on the new Samsung Galaxy S8. Thanks to this, the flagship device is said to be the next greatest Android smartphone.

Other game titles such as "Super Smash Bros.," "Melee," "Super Mario Sunshine," and "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker," also have the on-screen GameCube controller on the Galaxy S8. This may be tough to play with, but the games seem to look great and can run perfectly with very few drops in the frame rate.

Dolphin is an open-source emulator that is available on gadgets running on Android, Linux, Windows, and Mac. According to Polygon, the new Samsung Galaxy S8 offers a marked upgrade in the performance of games and applications, especially for Dolphin. Comparing its production to the previous flagship smartphone models such as last year’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, the Galaxy S8 is so much better.

According to Kotaku, Dolphin has been available on Android devices for quite some time. However, it couldn't run games at its required factors and playable speeds. It was apparently more of a technical presentation than anything else, but because of the upgraded hardware of the new Samsung Galaxy S8, the performance of games running on the emulator is smoother than ever.

Although GuruAidTechSupport, the YouTuber who tested out the three different games, claimed that GameCube Emulator Dolphin games can run on the unreleased smartphone perfectly, the video game emulation is of questionable legality.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be officially available on April 21 in the U.S.
