Fans will be will be receiving 10 DLC characters in "Injustice 2" and a number of them will be revealed at the game's pre-launch. NetherRealm Studios has revealed this during a live-stream of The Flash, Captain Cold and Bane.

All the characters that are already revealed, as noted by WWG,  will be available in the base version of the game. It means that fans haven't seen any of the DLC characters yet, or least there is one who is Darkseid that has been revealed as a downloadable character.

In addition, NetherRealm Studios representative has stated about the "Injustice 2" Ultimate Edition. He also mentioned about the pre-order perks and the future downloadable contents for the game. 

"You get three skins, Reverse Flash, Power Girl, John Stewart Green Lantern, you get nine DLC characters, and exclusive shaders. [Darkseid] is a 10th. He's a pre-order character [in addition to the 9 DLC characters. So really, there are 10 characters, which is pretty awesome."

The representative was further quizzed as to when will fans expect to know the identities of the downloadable characters. He replied that those who pre-order the game might see a couple of these characters  when the game's launch gets nearer.

As mentioned earlier, NetherRealm Studios has released a new trailer for "Injustice 2" that focuses on the lightning-fast superhero, The Flash. According to Gamespot, it focuses on some of his basic moves as he brawls versus a number of villains including Gorilla Grodd. The fighting stages were also shown, which looks very impressive.

"Injustice 2" is scheduled to launch on May 16 PS4 and Xbox One. Players can choose from three different purchase options: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Ultimate Edition.

The Standard Edition is a physical copy of the game and will cost $59.99 USD. The Deluxe Edition that costs $79.99 USD give players an  access to three DLC fighters when they become available, a premier Supergirl skin that transforms her into Powergirl and an exclusive gear shader pack.

The Ultimate Edition that costs $99.99 USD comes with three premier skins and two gear shaders. Those who avail of this pack will have an access to nine DLC characters plus Darkseid as the 10th character in "Injustice 2".
