NVIDIA is seemingly threatened by the new AMD Radeon RX Vega as it surprised everyone by releasing the Titan XP graphics card. Some believe that the company’s surprise product announcement was motivated by the stiff competition on the market.

According to Tweaktown, Titan X graphic card has been the talk of the town not just because of its feature but also because of the confusing name schemes of the product. As of today, there is still no detailed information regarding the product, but some believe that it will set a standard and could go beyond the expectation. Meanwhile, the AMD Radeon RX Vega is making a name in the technology industry as it thrills everyone with the features and functions that it offers.

AMD is set to introduce a high-bandwidth memory graphics card real soon. The card would reportedly come in two storage capacities: a 4GB and 8GB variant, based on Vega-architecture. The upcoming graphics card would reportedly be better and more powerful than the AMD’s RX series which that were introduced in the market last year and are based on Polaris architecture.

Despite Polaris architecture’s good function and LiquidVR technology, it is impossible for it to deliver a VR-based fully immersive gaming performance. While it can deliver a great virtual reality experience, its memory would not support the expected gaming performance.

With this, AMD has promised customers that the all new HBM2-based Vega would bring a solution to their long-time problem. According to Seeking Alpha, the Vega-based cards would allow users to experience high-end gaming. The cards would outplay even NVIDIA’s best and most powerful graphics card used for gaming, the Pascal-based GTX 1080 Ti with 11GB GDDR5X memory. Also, the Vega-based cards would support 4K display.
