According to the EXPRESS UK, it's likely that the "Call of Duty: WW2" coming on the Project Scorpio will arrive by the end of April or May. Also prior to the console's unveiling of its specifications, news went about the "Call of Duty: WW2" being playable on 4K. Apparently, Microsoft is confident about the Project Scorpio, they don't need a boost mode for games as the console itself is in its boost mode.

Despite evidences that could lead to the "Call of Duty: WW2" development, it's also possible that Activision is actually working on a totally different COD game. According to the Daily Star, the publisher recently announced the inclusion of game developer King in the project. King, the developer behind Candy Crush, which was bought by Activision in 2015 for approximately $5.9 billion is tasked to create a spinoff of the series for mobile gamers.

The announcement was made by King through their Blog Post, indicating the teams challenge to create a Call of Duty game for mobile. The post also said "Our approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible while providing a very authentic game experience." The game itself will have an extensive prototype according to King, but they are looking forward to create another "Call of Duty" game as part of their experience outside their expertise.

For those who expect the "Call of Duty: WW2" on the Project Scorpio, it could arrive; until then, it's best to expect the one being developed by King and wait for future announcement on the console's launch titles.
