Oppo has long staked claim to the title of being the "Selfie Expert." With the release of the Oppo F3 Plus along with its specs and alluring price, a new title might just have been added to the list.

The Guandong-based Chinese electronics manufacturing company has proven its worth in the Asian market with its series of smartphones that cater to the needs of selfieholics. Just years after launching the first selfie-designed mobile device, the company has now released a smartphone intended not just for a selfie but for groufie.

With the launch of the Oppo F3 Plus, taking a groufie has never been more exciting. The latest mid-range device from the company offers clarity and natural colors, especially when its dual camera is enabled. Just days after its release, the Oppo smartphone has been rated as a device great for group photos or groufies while capturing wider area in the background, according to the Economic Times.

Priced at $480, the smartphone is equipped with a 16MP front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture for "bokeh," according to Rappler. With this feature, subjects can stand-out due to in-focus function. What makes this selfie smartphone distinct from other brands is that it has a 1/3-inch sensor for less image noise that is ideal for selfies in low light.

Apart from its main attraction, the selfie camera, the device also offers a relative powerful mid-range mobile processor. Equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor and basic 64GB of internal storage, simple processes and tweaks could be performed with the device. Likewise, the Oppo F3 Plus selfie camera phone also comes with fast charging technology for its 4000mAh battery.

For security purposes, the latest Oppo device is also equipped with a fingerprint reader. It comes in gold and black color and is currently available for order.
