The much-awaited 4K console by Microsoft, dubbed the Xbox Scorpio, is finally going to be revealed soon. Its specs and details, which have remained mysteries to fans, will be announced.

However, the unveiling will be exclusive to Eurogamer. The Digital Foundry is expected to delve on the specs and performance of the Xbox Scorpio. Even though Microsoft will not hold an event for the console right now, fans will still get treated to finally know more about the PlayStation 4 Pro competitor.

There have been murmurs of 6 teraflops of power going around, which is an insane amount considering that the Xbox One only has 1.3 teraflops. The PS4 Pro is not at that level also, as it has only 4.2 teraflops. Gamespot also reported that it has 320 GB/s memory bandwidth, which is an ingredient for a beast console.

Right now, though, it is better to forget all the speculated details about the Xbox Scorpio as the truth will come out on Thursday at 9 a.m. EST, iDigitalTimes reported. Fans can bet it to have amazing specs as Microsoft has declared it to be the "most powerful console ever made."

While the Xbox Scorpio will be unveiled soon, its release date is still far away. Microsoft is planning a Holiday 2017 launch, so there is still plenty of time to finalize the preparations for the new console. It will also give time to developers to finish giving 4K support to their games.

But fans need not worry as all Xbox One games can be played on both Xbox One S and Xbox Scorpio. The only difference is that the Scorpio can play the titles at 4K resolution. That means that those interested in the console better start shopping for a 4K TV if they don't have one.
