Luca Todesco recently hinted that when iOS 10.3 is released he just might deploy a finalized and better version of the Yalu 10.2 jailbreak. True or not, if the plan is to jailbreak when Yalu is finally out of beta status, the best thing to do right now is to start on the downgrade road.

This applies for iPhone and iPad users who upgraded to versions 10.3.1, 10.3 and 10.2.1. According to WCCFTech, the latter two are still being signed by Apple and that means the door remains ajar for downgrade, which in turn could trigger the jailbreaking process. If indeed Todesco will make good on his promise and the intention is to avail of the enhanced iOS 10.2 crack then it's a must to go back now.

Real soon, Apple will stop signing both iOS 10.3 and 10.2.1 and that move will close the door on a downgrade route. And that possibly will translate to end of jailbreaking, the same report said.

But as both iOS versions are still signed now is the time to go back if desired and doing so is not too hard, made even easier by the guide provided in the same WCCFTech report.

So what's next when the downgrade is complete? There are two directions available for those opting to jailbreak. One is to get the Yalu JB tool from Todesco that recently has been reported to get a bump soon. It remains unclear what are the exact updates that Todesco will next deliver but there have been talks that work is now underway to resolve the 7-day signing issue that plagues the Yalu jailbreak.

It was understood too that Todesco is looking to expand the coverage of the Yalu jailbreak and make it work on at least all 64-bit devices. In the event that the solution will get out of beta status, it is expected that the iPhone 7 series will be supported.  The only question now is: Will Todesco finalize the only available iOS 10.2 jailbreak?

In case of no better Yalu version to come, the alternative jailbreak route will be the one to open up for those willing try out the upcoming iOS 9.x re-store bug. The tool, according to iDownloadBlog.com, will "theoretically" permit the downgrade from iOS 6, 8, 9 and 10 to firmware version 9.x. And from there, users can tap into the Home Depot or Pangu9 jailbreak.

But it's important to note that the re-store bug is exclusive only for 32-bit devices, which in turn can only be jailbroken from iOS 9.1 to 9.3.4.

So for now and while the situation still permits, it's a must to downgrade now from firmware versions 10.3 and 10.2.1 and jailbreak using the JB solutions currently available. And to be realistic, to wait out for the finalized iOS 10.2 jailbreak release from Luca Todesco is not highly recommended.
