"The Sims 4: Bowling Night" Stuff pack is the latest DLC to hit the massively popular life simulation game. Now, fans are expecting an expansion to come next, which is bigger than Stuff packs. After "Vampires," what's in store for players?

According to latest reports, fans better prepare for the arrival of furry friends. Plenty of evidences point to "Pets" being the next "The Sims 4" DLC, and some of the evidences are in the source code of the game itself, Sims Community reported.

The first references to pets were first discovered in January. Since then, every time "The Sims 4" was updated, more and more lines that pertain to dogs and cats were being added. Sims VIP also reported that a Sim guru revealed that Pets will not be objects, further confirming their imminent arrival.

As of now, the gaming community is almost a hundred percent sure that the two animals are coming, but they may leave a friend behind. The first references mentioned horses, but the following ones did not. This leads to the speculation that the mammal may not arrive at all, despite appearing in "The Sims 3: Pets." Still, hopes are high that EA will put all the previous additions to the predecessor of "The Sims 4" and more.

But that is not all that may come to "The Sims 4." EA recently released surveys asking the game's player base a series of questions relating to possible future DLCs. Among the list are "Fairies" and "Witches," which would join "Vampires" to form the third instalment's "Supernaturals" expansion.

There are also hints to a "University Life" kind of DLC, which would be called "On Campus." As "The Sims 4" is more advanced, fans can also expect the university to be improved and to have more gameplay.

The next "The Sims 4" DLC that is coming after "Bowling Night" and "Pets" cannot be made sure for now, but it is looking like the community can still expect several additions to come their way.
