Aside from the upcoming PC version of "Destiny 2," Bungie has added new flavors to the previously dull game.

"Destiny 2" will be released on September 8, not only for PS4 and Xbox One but also for PC.

Aside from finally conceding to the highly requested PC version, Destiny is offering a clean break for everyone, even if that means abandoning all the players' old weapons and gear.

Game Revolution highlighted four other reasons why gamers would be excited about "Destiny 2."

First up, the story is well thought this time and not rushed. You have probably heard about how Bungie tossed the original Destiny story in the trash just one year before its launch and hence forcing the team to rush in writing a story line. The result was that there were no interesting character or compelling plot to grab onto. The brief trailer of the sequel, meanwhile, has been well received as it appears more fun and flavorful.

According to the Destructoid, the gist of the story revolves around the Red Legion's takeover of the last safe city on Earth and the Guardian's task of reclaiming their home.

Secondly, it appears that the gameplay will be good. While the previous game's story line had nothing to offer, players relied on the gameplay to carry the game forward. Bungie has established a reputation as one of this generation's best shooters in terms of gameplay, despite having a new IP powered by an unfamiliar engine.

Thirdly, there's no better word to describe Destiny's first major expansion, The Taken King, but simply amazing. Game Revolution highlighted that the enemies were well designed, from basic Psions that can copy and split, to its Captains that is capable of blinding you.

Lastly, "Destiny 2" does not have much competition. Aside from "Call of Duty," other AAA shooter games may only be available in the second half of the year.
