'Total War: Warhammer' News: March 31 Announcement Could Reveal Second Game in Trilogy; Latest Patch Available Now

"Total War: Warhammer" has received the latest Bretonnia patch on Monday, bringing several balancing changes to Questing Knights, Foot Squires Men-at-Arms as well as other bug fixes to the game.

The latest patch focuses on the Bretonnian forces in "Total War: Warhammer", adding balancing changes on Questing Knights with reduced 8 Charge Bonus, Foot Squires is reduced of 10 Leadership and reduced 6 Charge Bonus. The Men-at-Arms Costs an additional 25, Helman Ghorsts's Vanhel Danse Macabre is reduced 1 of Power Cost, and Strigoi's Soulblight adds 1 Power Cost.

Creative Assembly has also reset the multiplayer leaderboards in "Total War: Warhammer." Players who are guilty of drop-hacking during multiplayer battles will be given a 5% score penalty, for instance, those  who are disconnecting under suspicious circumstances.

The patch also brings fixes to the game, including the issues where players cannot save the game on the Legendary difficulty after they comepleted the last chapter mission. The missing building chain in the Grung Zint settlement and all income types are now fixed and being applied correctly to all resource buildings particularly on the Farming/Industry bonuses.

The Guardians of the Lady skill giving a wrong resistance is now fixed and now, it gives missile resistance where it used to give magic resistance. Also, the unlock level for Gelt's Pegasus is now addressed and the rare crash when Heroes disband on the campaign map is also corrected.

The inconsistency between the main lore spells and Strigoi and Ghorst spells are now fixed. There is no honor in torture, so players can no longer gain Chivalry for torturing people during Quests. Full patch notes can be viewed via Steam website here.

In other "Total War" news, the official website of the game is on a full page countdown clock. Apparently, the second game in the trilogy might be announced or revealed this Friday, March 31.

However, some also speculate that it could be about a new "Total War" game. So, stay tuned for more updated news on "Total War: Warhammer".
