Bungie has confirmed that "Destiny 2" is coming and here are a few good reasons for the entire game to be playable on VR.

"Destiny 2" has once again topped the chart following an official announcement via Twitter on Monday, March 27, but fans are still left hanging whether a PC release will be happening too or not.

Whether a PC version is coming or not, Upload has outlined five reasons why "Destiny 2" needs virtual reality (VR) support.

First, Upload argued that downgrading the visuals of "Destiny 2" to maintain strong performance is worth the sacrifice if the alternative is not having the game in VR at all.

Secondly, compatibility-wise, "Destiny 2" appears to work best as gamepad title on any VR devices as the game's characters have multiple abilities and options during combat that far exceed a handful of face buttons available on other motion controllers.

Third, a fast-paced gameplay for "Destiny 2" would be visceral and exciting if experienced inside of an HMD.

Fourth, "Destiny 2" has a great setting that if displayed on a literal HUD inside your HMD would add to the immersion.

Lastly, "Destiny 2" has a good selling potential given the fact that first-person shooters are the most popular genre that commands the most sales.

Movie Pilot also suggest that VR support will steadily become a request for every big franchise out there such as "Destiny 2."

"This is the year of Virtual Reality and we're excited to see how it all goes down. Seeing as Activision are working closely with Sony in terms of exclusives for Destiny and Call Of Duty, we may see Playstation VR support before any other if this actually goes ahead," it said.
