"Movado Connect" has been revealed by the American luxury watchmaker Movado during the Baselworld 2017 watch show. The smartwatch is the first Android Wear watch that is created for Wear 2.0 featuring more than a hundred watch face designs. In spite of the unique watchfaces, each timepiece is guaranteed to be recognizable as one of the watchmaker company's technology creation.

In a report by Endgadget, although the Movado timepieces come in different variations still each variant carries the company's single dot design and the single dot watchface. This technology is the product of Movado and the HP collaboration. The watch is equipped with the Android Wear features like the Android Pay, that allows purchases.

Additionally, with the Google Assistant features, "Movado Connect" has the ability to perform tasks, can give directions and even answer questions, if asked. It also features the Google Fit and Health applications.

Meanwhile, each timepiece features the identifiable hallmarks of the Movado design signature. This includes the 12 o'clock indicator and the custom watchface that resembles the watchmaker's classic Museum model, according to The Verge. Nevertheless, the watchmaker has not been open about the hardware of the Android Wear watch like the lifespan of its battery, its camera features for quality photos.

The Movado watches were exclusively produced for the male customers and these will be released with straps and bracelets this fall of 2017. However, up to this time there are no announcements yet of the company's plan to release the smaller and feminine versions of the smart watches for the women. The Android Wear 2.0 is only the first of Movado's venture into the smartwatch industry. For more update on smartwatches, stay tuned to Telegiz.
