"Pokemon Stars", at the moment, remains a rumor as Nintendo has not yet announced it yet. However if fans have been following Nintendo's press releases, it did discuss about its possible launch and perhaps, it will reveal the company plans of a new Pokemon game for Nintendo Switch in the succeeding months.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Version for Nintendo Switch

The rumored title is claimed to be a more exciting version of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" for 3DS and will be redesigned for Switch, Digital Spy cited Eurogamer's report from late 2016. According to the source of the gaming outfit, this project codenamed "Pokemon Stars" is in development.

The leak courtesy of an insider at Game Freak further revealed that it was initially planned for a summer 2017 release. But it appears now that it's pushed back to a later schedule this year.

Back in August, MCV reported that Nintendo is working on Pokemon and Mario games alongside "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" that will be launched in the latest hardware with six months post launch. At present, "Super Mario Odyssey" has a placeholder date of December 29 at Amazon pre-order listing.

"Pokemon Stars", as gaming pundits predict,  a holiday 2017 also sounds plausible to boost the Nintendo Switch offerings during Christmas season. Switch users can also expect improved graphics, given the console's 720p screen and will be likely playable on TV for 1080p experience. In terms of price, the £30 of Sun and Moon on 3DS might see an increase on Nintendo Switch.
