The update for Apple iOS 10.2.1 has long been awaited by consumers after series of complaints of the current mobile operating system were expressed online. Although the 10.3 version is yet to be perfected, signs of the upcoming release of the final version were not left unnoticed by enthusiasts.

The "Upcoming Maintenance" warning given by Apple's online store was interpreted by most users as one of the signs for the next release of the iOS 10.2.1 successor. Aside from that, the rapid succession of beta rollouts and the current efforts on Apple's website have also been taken into consideration by many iPhone and iPad users as signs for the impending release. 

There have been reports that the forthcoming iOS 10.3 is expected to replace the old HFS+ filing system. This will be replaced by Apple's own filing system. Aside from the Dark Mode feature, iOS 11 could also be augmented reality friendly mobile system. If indeed true that iPhone 8 will be AR-ready, then its software should also be AR-friendly. Furthermore, potential inclusion of Siri speaker and  Theatre Mode has also been reported as part of the iOS update.
