OnePlus just recently unveiled the limited edition all-black OnePlus 3T or also called as the Colette edition. However, the company had other plans in store for fans which will surely bring excitement.

OnePlus has just taken the wraps off the Midnight Black OnePlus 3T which is just like the Colette edition, limited. However, OnePlus fans will have a better opportunity on getting a hold of this smartphone as there will be more units offered and will be more easily available compared to the Colette edition.

The Midnight Black OnePlus 3T will be offered first through HBX, Hypebeast's online store, in 250 limited units. The sale will begin on March 24 as 12PM EST, and will be open to US, Europe and Hong Kong.

OnePlus will also sell the Midnight Black via its own online store and will also be a limited run. However, the number of units that is going to be released was not announced. If OnePlus fans did not make it through HBX, they better keep an eye on OnePlus' online store for the Midnight Black availability.

Both HBX and OnePlus will sell the limited edition Midnight Black OnePlus 3T for about $479 (£439/€479) which will be the same as the 128GB variant it is based on. The only main difference is the color, according to OnePlus.

The device is said to be tested over 30 color iterations to come up with the Midnight Black. The coating is 14 microns thick and said to preserve the natural look and feel of the aluminum body. A special layer is applied on top to keep fingerprints off.

OnePlus includes the user's feedback into their process on developing the products like no other company. Many have requested for an all-black OnePlus 3T, which resulted to the company's latest release. The newest version of the company's most successful phone combines high-end hardware, quick and smooth software and the optimum attention to detail, according to Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus.
