One report noted that it would introduce a mode that may veer away from the usual "soccer-with-RC-cars theme." With the introduction of a new arena, a breakable surface, and another ball, Rocket Leaguers are set to experience a different kind of gaming.

Following the availability of the "Rocket League" Dropshot update, the patch notes (V1.31) have been shared. According to the game developer, the newly-released upgrade will give loyal fans the chance to enjoy the following:

The Headlines

First, the Dropshot game mode can be played in the unranked playlist. This means that with the "Rocket League" Dropshot update, "Core 707" will be available when playing Dropshot, while the "Mannfield (Night)" can be played in all playlists.

Second, the Casual and Competitive playlists no longer include "Neo Tokyo." However, the map remains playable both in offline and online matches.

Third, in Turbo Crate, which has been added, gamers get the chance to have Painted Endo bodies and Tachyon Rocket Trails.

The Changes

With the update, the gamers' goal is to "break the floor with the ball on the opponent's side, and knock the ball through the hole."

"AquaDome has undergone further performance optimization, and its overall color saturation has been reduced," Psyonix stated in the game's patch notes.

Meanwhile, when it comes to the soundtrack that gamers can listen to, "Spell (Sando Remix)" by Hollywood Principle has just been added.

Apart from this, the Time Played is now part of the statistics that will be displayed. Prior to the "Rocket League" Dropshot update, the time played was not tracked.
