An updated version of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" may come to the Nintendo Switch soon, as hinted by a job advertisement by Game Freak. The "Pokemon" developer is apparently looking for 3D CG designers to create characters, monsters, and item models.

Although the job description did not specifically state that character modelers are being sought for a "Pokemon" game, it did, however, confirm that it is for an "RPG game that is popular on a global scale."

"It's a title that just about anyone knows, a proposal that could be your future career," the job ad read, according to Siliconera. The game could be a "Pokemon" title, and because it says that it is for a console game, it might be "Pokemon Stars," which is an upgraded version for the Nintendo Switch.

According to Forbes, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are great games that have great potential. Usually, a "Pokemon" title is exclusive to handheld consoles, but if the latest games are ported to the Nintendo Switch, Game Freak could make use of its specs and hardware to produce a full RPG game.

It is exciting to see just how far "Pokemon Sun and Moon," which broke a lot of records, would go if a Nintendo Switch version comes out. But unfortunately, nothing is known yet about the alleged "Pokemon Stars" title.

There are rumors that "Pokemon Stars" will be released this year. If it is true, then the Nintendo Switch will have the company's biggest franchises: "The Legend of Zelda," "Super Mario," and "Pokemon."

This will be a great opportunity for Nintendo to keep selling the Switch like pancakes. Currently, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is boosting the sales of the console. It will not do so forever, so it is a good strategy to release other AAA titles spaced apart.

More details on "Pokemon Stars" on the Nintendo Switch are expected soon.
